What our community told us was that “We love writing in Markdown, and we have big archives in Markdown already. However we lack the visual aspect!”

🎉 You can import Markdown archives to Scrintal

A very requested feature is here: you can import Markdown archives. What’s better is your links and tags are also imported!

The cards will have the #imported tag, and will be placed in a board. It’s so eye opening to see how your knowledge graph looks in Scrintal.

Importing your MarkDown archive to Scrintal lets you play with your text-based knowledge visually. This is how the same set of files look like in Scrintal and Obsidian. 👇

Date & Time

Thanks to some of our users suggestions, we introduced an easy yet effective feature to insert day or time stamps into your notes. Now our users will find be able to add dates and time using / and select the desired command. This is handy when you want to mark text or track chronological events, such as a meetings or entries in a blog or journal.

Emojis

A key aspect of our tool is linked to visuality, and we understand that visuality is in the little things, in the details. Therefore, we are giving our users more options within the text editor, so they can make their notes more visual, fun and colorful.
